“COASTLANDERS 8 to 8″ is selected as finalist for the ” 3th Istanbul International Architecture and Urban Films Festival”

3 th Istanbul International Architecture and Urban Films Festival” will be held on October 5, 2009 which has been conducted by the “Chamber of Architects of Turkey“.  And “8’den  8’e  SAHİLDEKİLER” /COASTLANDERS 8 to 8” is finalist for the category of the national competition .

This festival is being planned within the context of “Celebration of Architecture and City” realized by the Chamber of Architects İstanbul Metropolitan Branch for the “World Architecture Day”, which is celebrated jointly by 1,200,000 global members of the Union of International Architects annually on each first Monday of the Month of October.

Members of the Jury for the National Competition:

Behiç Ak (Painter, Architect), Uğur Vardan (Film critic), Hilmi Etikan (Director of Documentary Films), Esin Köymen (Architect), Ayşe AK (Architect), M. Melih Güneş (Architect), Hasan Özgen (Director of Documentary Films), Necati Sönmez (Film Columnist, Director)
